1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies when you use LocalPPT on supported mobile and desktop platforms, including iOS and macOS.

2. Information We Process
To provide presentation generation, preview, export, and save features, the App may process the information below. Most of it is provided by you and stored locally on your device.
2.1 Information you provide
- Presentation input: topic descriptions, intent Q&A answers, outline titles, slide body text, design preferences, and related text you enter in the App;
- Save / share actions: paths and file names you choose through the system file picker, save dialog, or share sheet.
2.2 Data generated by the App
- Presentation data: structured presentation data and exported presentation files;
- Preview assets: slide preview images, generated illustrations, and related cache files created during generation.
2.3 Information we do not actively collect
In the current version, the App does not actively collect:
- Precise location, contacts, SMS, or call logs;
- Biometric identifiers;
- Advertising IDs or cross-app tracking identifiers;
- Login credentials (there is no account system).
3. How We Use Information
We use the information above only as needed to operate the App:
- Understand your presentation intent and generate or refine outlines, slide content, and layouts;
- Run on-device AI models locally to assist with text and visual generation;
- Render previews, assemble presentation files, and save them to your chosen path or the App sandbox;
- Invoke the system share sheet so you can share exported files;
- Remember your in-app preferences, such as theme and design choices;
- Maintain security and stability of the App.
4. Local Processing and Network Use
4.1 On-device processing
Core features rely on AI and rendering components that run on your device. Your presentation content is processed locally to generate outlines, slide text, layouts, and images where supported by your device. During normal use, your content typically does not leave your device.
4.2 Network access
The App is intended to work without an internet connection for its core presentation-generation features. We do not transmit your presentation content to our servers as part of normal use. If you choose to share an exported file through another app or service, that action is initiated by you and governed by the recipient service’s own policies.

The App does not silently access the camera, microphone, photo library, or location in the background.
6. Storage and Retention
6.1 Where data is stored
- Presentations: in the App’s private data area on your device;
- Exports: in the App export area or a location you choose through the system dialog;
- Preview and cache files: in temporary or cache areas within the App sandbox;
- AI components: bundled with the App or stored locally on your device as needed to provide offline functionality.
6.2 How long we keep data
Your presentations and exports remain on your device until you delete them, clear App data, or uninstall the App. After uninstallation, sandbox data is usually removed by the OS (subject to platform rules).
7. Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your presentation content with third parties except:
- With your explicit action: e.g., when you share a file via the system share sheet to another app or person;
- Legal requirements: when required by applicable law, litigation, or competent authorities;
- Protection of rights: when reasonably necessary to protect you, us, or other users.
When you use Share, the recipient app’s privacy policy governs how that app handles the file.
8. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect data on your device, including:
- Prioritizing local processing to reduce data exposure;
- Using OS app sandboxing and permission models;
- Relying on standard filesystem access controls for saved and exported files.
No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. Please keep your device secure and verify recipients before sharing files.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access / copy: view content in the App and export presentation copies;
- Correct: edit outlines and text and regenerate content;
- Delete: remove presentations or uninstall the App;
- Withdraw consent: stop using features or revoke OS permissions in device settings;
- Contact us: ask questions about this policy or our data practices.
If applicable laws (e.g., GDPR, PIPL) grant you additional rights, we will respond within the timeframes required by law.
10. Children
The App is intended for users who create presentations. If you are a minor, please use the App with a guardian’s guidance. We do not knowingly collect information from children beyond what is necessary for App functionality. Guardians may contact us if they believe a child submitted information without appropriate consent.
11. Third-Party and Open-Source Components
The App may include third-party and open-source software components that run on your device to provide local AI, rendering, and system integration capabilities. This policy describes LocalPPT’s practices only and does not replace any third-party terms that may apply to those components.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy due to feature changes, legal requirements, or regulatory guidance. We will revise the “Last updated” date on this page. If changes materially affect your rights, we will notify you through in-app notice, our website, or other reasonable means. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
